Meet Your Attorneys

Joy Davis Collier has worked hard to build a successful legal practice. Looking back, she wouldn't have had it any other way. The experience she gained working her way through law school — as a clerk, a waitress and a medical assistant — has given her valuable perspective on life, on the law, and on the real-life problems her clients face every day. She has the right experience to help her clients get results. She worked as a workers' compensation insurance adjustor for eight years. Her life experience allows her to understand the impact the outcome of a personal injury or divorce case can have on a client's life. She works tirelessly for her clients because she knows what it means to struggle.

Richard House learned about the law in law school. But he learned about being a lawyer sitting at his dining room table. His stepfather was a lawyer. His mother got her law degree at age 46. Growing up in a family of lawyers, Richard learned about the value of hard work, integrity and helping people. Today, as he helps people with important legal issues like Social Security disability and wrongful death claims, he remembers the burden his parents lifted off the shoulders of people in the small town where he grew up. He is dedicated to continuing that legacy.
